I started to write my own cms yesterday.
Its something that I have been pondering on for the last couple of months, if not the past year / year-half.
I started playing around with ASP.NET using C#. Bought myself some books, was actually convinced that I was going to do the MCSD course. Haven’t gotten round to doing it though. I had to prioritise and bought a flat instead.
Reasons for creating my own cms.
- Its easier to modify and edit your own code. So if there are bugs, I can easily debug.
- Its a great way to learn how to develop in ASP.NET
- Its another option for my clients when they want to update their own websites and not pay for my services – perhaps too expensive

This is my first blogg.
I work for an ISP. Today is friday, and it isn’t a very good day today. I recon I got up on the wrong side of the bed.
Now I’m busy listening to my boss shouting at a kak irritating client on the phone. This client had a change in email address and the reminders to say he must renew his website was sent to the old email addy. Now he is freaking out at us. What a toss!
